Kardinya – new courtyard garden – garden plan, paving, planting, reticulation

We turned a sandy wasteland where a pool used to be into a lush low-maintenance sanctuary for alfresco dining.  Following the development of a garden plan we laid natural stone paving and planted deciduous trees such as Gleditsia and Chinese Tallow for their colour and summer shade.  Maroon hop bushes were incorporated into the scheme for their year-round colour, along with native hibiscus, kangaroo paws and dietes.
